When I was ten, I fell in love with Laura Ingalls Wilder and Louisa May Alcott to the extent I spent my summer days between fifth and sixth grade writing stories about the prairie. Five years later, I fell in love with Judith Krantz and Danielle Steel. I started writing Women’s Fiction and majoring in Creative Writing in college. Five years later I discovered Historical Romance and never looked back. I fell in love with Restoration England and spent years researching, crafting, and dreaming of how people lived their lives in an era of no running water, deplorable hygiene, and a set of societal rules that governed who you could talk to and how you lived. Yet people fell in love every day despite the odds. Love is timeless. Throughout the ages, love endures. I live in Nebraska with my husband and two beautiful feline fur babies.
